Family Tides

We enjoyed our week and the place fit our needs and family. The two umbrellas and four chairs with beach setup was great, and beach was fantastic—the location is between two coastal lakes so water has brown hue from the lakes depending on tide. The ocean was crystal clear about half the days we were there. The place has a bit outdated decor, and it is a wee bit cluttered. The kitchen faucet dripped unless turned off properly, and the ice maker had a broken handle. The property managers left a good supplies of dish soap, dishwasher tablets,etc. Check in and communication from property managers were great.

House was spotless! And very beautiful.

Second time staying here. Great view of the beach and beach access is a breeze. Love the convenience and location. Will stay here again.

The location is fantastic and the beach access is perfect. We had an issue on the balcony that we called about, and they fixed within hours on the weekend. Unfortunately, the property itself needed some basic maintenance and more attention to detail. We had several visible open cracks in the drywall where water damage repairs had been poorly done or had subsequently re-opened. There were fresh water stains on the ceiling in the master and the living room. There were dirty linens on the beds and the comforter in the master was torn and stained. There was mold inside a picture hanging in the loft (that had had obvious water damage at some point). The furniture in the main living areas was dirty and appeared to have not been taken care of.I understand these properties must be exceptionally hard to keep up with in these elements but, even if the damage is new, it would have been nice to know there were repairs needed as the price we paid certainly did not indicate a property with some work to do.

It was wonderful staying right on the ocean and beach chairs set up for us. Would return to Sugar Dunes again!
